Fire Sprinklers require periodic maintenance

Fire Sprinklers require periodic maintenance | #ESC_LLC #FireSprinklers #SprinklerSaves | In some instances it pays to have a Safety Director who can pay particular attention to general inspections, or at least make arrangements for your regular fire protection company to do the work, such as ESC of Greater Ohio.

A good example of this is the general inspection of control valves. Sealed units need to be inspected weekly, locked monthly, and monthly for those with a tamper switch. In particular, “A sprinkler system installed in accordance with this standard shall be properly inspected, tested, and maintained in accordance with NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems.”
